Wynn Resorts has confirmed that Wynn Al Marjan Island is now expected to welcome guests in September 2027, with construction progressing rapidly on what will become the UAE’s first integrated resort.

Wynn Resorts has confirmed that Wynn Al Marjan Island is expected to open in September 2027, providing an updated timeline for the landmark integrated resort currently under development in Ras Al Khaimah.
The updated opening target was announced as part of Wynn Resorts’ second-quarter 2026 financial results. According to the company, construction at Wynn Al Marjan Island is progressing at a rapid pace, while pre-opening hiring and operational planning are also advancing as work continues across the development.
During the second quarter, Wynn Resorts contributed US$ 48.1 million to the project, bringing its life-to-date cash contributions to US$ 1.06 billion through its 40%-owned joint venture.
Developed in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding, Wynn Al Marjan Island is located on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, approximately 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Once complete, it is expected to become the UAE’s first integrated resort.
The development will comprise 1,542 guestrooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a beach club, nightclub, luxury shopping promenade, Wynn spa and salon, a 39,000 sqft poolscape, and a 145,000 sqft meetings and events centre, alongside a purpose-built theatre featuring a resident entertainment production.
In an earlier construction update issued in February 2025, Wynn Resorts announced that the project had secured a US$ 2.4 billion construction financing facility, which the company described as the largest hospitality financing transaction in the UAE. At the time, Wynn also reported significant progress across the development, including structural works, façade installation, guestroom fit-out and mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.
In its latest update, Wynn Resorts said interior work on the resort’s hotel rooms is now underway, with mechanical, electrical and finishing trades progressing in sequence as construction advances towards the planned September 2027 opening.
