UAE-based property technology company Rentify has launched Ally, an artificial intelligence-powered maintenance agent designed to simplify rental property repairs and improve coordination between tenants, landlords and property managers.

Ally forms part of Rentify's Earn AI platform and brings together maintenance requests, contract verification, spending approvals, vendor assignments and invoice management.

The service operates through a workflow that begins on WhatsApp, allowing tenants to report maintenance issues without navigating a separate property management application.

Rentify describes Ally as a standalone AI maintenance agent developed for the UAE rental market.

Simplifying Property Maintenance Requests

Property maintenance often requires communication between several parties before a repair can begin.

Tenants report problems, property managers assess the issue, landlords approve expenditure and maintenance vendors arrange the necessary work.

Ally is designed to connect these activities within a single workflow.

Tenants can submit maintenance requests using text messages, photographs or videos through WhatsApp.

The system then classifies the reported issue, checks the property's maintenance contract and estimates the repair cost.

Based on approval rules established by the property manager, Ally can proceed with routine coordination or refer the request for human review.

Once the necessary approvals are obtained, the system can dispatch a maintenance vendor and subsequently compare the invoice with the approved estimate.

Maintaining Human Oversight

Although Ally automates routine maintenance coordination, Rentify emphasises that property managers retain control over important decisions.

Users can establish approval thresholds and escalation procedures, ensuring that higher-value repairs or matters requiring professional judgement are referred to the appropriate individuals.

Emergency maintenance requests are directed to an on-call vendor.

Each action is recorded with a timestamp and the relevant approval rule, creating a documented history of the maintenance process.

This approach is intended to improve accountability while reducing the administrative workload associated with coordinating repairs.

Improving Cost Visibility for Landlords

Ally also provides landlords with information about maintenance expenditure.

Approval requests can include photographs, repair quotations and the owner's share of the proposed cost.

A maintenance history is maintained for each rental unit, allowing property owners to review repair expenditure alongside rental income.

Vendors receive structured job cards, while invoice matching allows property management teams to compare final charges with previously approved work.

Rashed Hareb Al Mheiri, Co-Founder and CEO of Rentify, said the platform was developed to reduce time spent coordinating repairs while keeping property teams in control of expenditure and service decisions.

The company expects the system to support landlords managing multiple properties by providing more consistent records of maintenance activity.

Part of Rentify's Growing AI Platform

Ally is the fourth agent introduced within Rentify's Earn AI workforce.

According to the company, customer portfolios associated with the wider platform represent more than 180,000 rental units and US$3.4 billion in annual rent roll.

These figures describe the broader Earn AI ecosystem and do not represent the number of properties currently using Ally.

Rajneel Kumar, Co-Founder of Rentify, said the company's longer-term ambition is to connect rental payments, lease renewals and maintenance activities through an integrated operational platform.

Ally adds maintenance coordination to that wider strategy.

Supporting Dubai's Rental Property Market

The launch comes as property management activity continues to grow across Dubai.

According to Dubai Land Department figures cited by Rentify, the emirate recorded 1.38 million tenancy contracts valued at AED126.4 billion in 2025, covering residential and commercial properties.

Rentify also cited industry research estimating the UAE facilities management market at US$6.5 billion in 2024, with a projected value of US$10.95 billion by 2030.

Ally addresses a specific part of that market: the coordination of repairs in rental properties.

The system is designed to work alongside existing property management software and spreadsheet-based processes, although deployment requirements vary depending on each customer's systems and approval procedures.

Ally is now available, with property managers and landlords able to explore deployment through Rentify's website.
