Ohana Development, Manchester City F.C. Agree on Branded Residential Project in Abu Dhabi

Ohana Development has signed an agreement with Manchester City F.C. to develop a large-scale branded residential project on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The project, titled Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana, is planned along the Yas Canal waterfront and is positioned as a multi-billion-dirham development.

Spanning approximately 1.67 million square metres, the scheme is described as the first residential destination globally to carry Manchester City branding. The development forms part of Abu Dhabi’s broader pipeline of mixed-use and lifestyle-focused real estate projects linked to Yas Island’s ongoing expansion.

According to the developer, the project will integrate Manchester City’s brand identity into the design and positioning of the residential community, aligning it with Ohana Development’s existing luxury residential portfolio in the UAE. Further details on unit mix, phasing, and delivery timelines have not yet been disclosed.

Husein Salem, CEO of Ohana Development, said the agreement reflects the company’s continued focus on Abu Dhabi as a core market and its strategy of partnering with international brands on long-term developments.

Ferran Soriano, Chief Executive Officer of City Football Group, described the project as a new format for extending the Manchester City brand into the residential real estate sector through a regional partnership.
