Metac General Contracting will deliver seven buildings across Phases 1 and 3 of Bay Grove Residences, with main construction works scheduled for completion in late 2028.

Nakheel has awarded a main construction contract worth more than AED 800 million to Metac General Contracting for 537 homes at Bay Grove Residences on Dubai Islands.
The contract covers Phases 1 and 3 of the sold-out waterfront development and includes seven residential buildings, basement construction, infrastructure works and resident amenities. Main construction works are expected to be completed in late 2028.
Phase 1 comprises 296 residences across four buildings, while Phase 3 will add another 241 homes across three buildings.
The residential mix ranges from one- to four-bedroom homes, with amenities planned across the development including swimming pools, play courts and fitness facilities.
Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said the sell-out of Bay Grove Residences reflects continued demand for high-quality waterfront homes in Dubai.
He added that the latest construction award moves the development into its next delivery phase and represents another step in the wider development of Dubai Islands.
Once fully completed, Bay Grove Residences will comprise 1,154 homes across 15 residential buildings.
A further 617 residences are planned across Phases 2 and 4, with additional construction appointments expected as those phases progress.
The community has been designed around landscaped spaces, pedestrian and cycling routes and access to Crystal Beach, supporting Nakheel’s wider waterfront masterplan for Dubai Islands.
Dubai Islands comprises five islands and more than 20 kilometres of beaches, alongside planned hotels, parks, golf courses, cultural destinations and waterfront residential neighbourhoods.
The AED 800 million award adds to Nakheel’s ongoing construction pipeline as the developer advances large-scale residential and infrastructure projects across Dubai.
