Dubai-based Meraki Developers has announced its entry into Dubai South, with plans to launch a new mixed-use development as part of its expanding real estate portfolio.

The announcement, made on October 20, 2026, marks the developer's move into another of Dubai's residential and commercial growth districts.

The upcoming project, named Celeste, is scheduled to be officially unveiled in November 2026, with further details expected to be announced ahead of its launch.

New Mixed-Use Development Planned

Meraki's planned development in Dubai South will focus on contemporary design, intelligent living and amenities intended to support everyday residential experiences.

The project will reflect the company's approach to developing properties that combine functional design with long-term residential value.

Although the developer has confirmed the project's name and location, detailed information regarding its residential unit count, development value and completion schedule has not yet been disclosed.

The official launch in November is expected to provide additional information about the development's offering.

Seven Projects in Development Pipeline

The Dubai South expansion comes as Meraki continues to grow its real estate operations across Dubai.

According to the company, its development pipeline currently includes seven projects with a combined value approaching US$1 billion.

Approximately 2,400 residential units are under construction across its portfolio.

The figures reflect Meraki's existing development activity as it prepares to introduce additional projects in new locations.

The company operates under Meraki Group, a UAE- and Singapore-based conglomerate with more than 25 years of experience across development, construction and education.

The group reports having delivered more than 100 projects across the UAE, including residential and commercial developments, hospitals, educational institutions and recreational facilities.

Building on Existing Residential Projects

Meraki's expansion follows the completion and handover of The Haven I, one of its existing residential developments.

According to the company, the project achieved a 73% snag-free handover rate.

Meraki also reported that one-bedroom apartments at Haven I command approximately AED75,000 in annual rent, compared with an area average of AED63,000.

These figures are developer-reported indicators for the existing project and do not represent rental forecasts for the upcoming Dubai South development.

The company intends to apply its experience in design, construction and project delivery to its next phase of development.

Dubai South Supports Expansion Strategy

Ajay Rajendran, Founder and Chairman of Meraki Group, described Dubai South as an important step in the company's growth.

"Dubai South represents an important next step in Meraki's growth," Rajendran said.

He highlighted the district's infrastructure development, connectivity and expanding residential community as factors supporting the company's decision to enter the market.

Rajendran also outlined the developer's ambition to position Celeste among the area's leading residential projects.

The statement reflects the company's development aspirations rather than an independently established market ranking.

Focus on the November Launch

Meraki's entry into Dubai South adds another location to its expanding development portfolio.

The company plans to continue developing residential properties with an emphasis on design, functionality and community-oriented amenities.

Its upcoming Celeste project will provide further insight into how the developer intends to approach the Dubai South market.

With the official unveiling scheduled for November 2026, attention will turn to the project's design, residential offering and development timeline.
