Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a main construction contract worth more than AED 590 million ($160.65 million) to Parkway International Contracting for Phase 3 of City Walk Crestlane in Dubai.

The contract covers the construction of 394 apartments across four residential buildings, marking another major delivery milestone for the expanding residential community. Construction has already commenced, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2028.

The award follows earlier construction activity at City Walk Crestlane. In August, Meraas appointed the International Foundation Group to undertake groundworks for two residential buildings within Phase 3, including site preparation, excavation, soil improvement, dewatering, shoring and piling works.

Khalid Al Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said the continued expansion of Crestlane reflects sustained demand for design-led residential developments in central Dubai. He added that the latest construction award moves the development into its next stage of delivery, with a focus on execution and long-term quality.

Tarek Zoabi, Managing Partner at Parkway International Contracting, said the contractor would focus on safety, quality and programme management throughout the construction process, while applying its technical expertise to the next phase of the Crestlane development.

City Walk Crestlane Expands Meraas' Central Dubai Residential Portfolio

City Walk Crestlane has been planned as an extension of the wider City Walk neighbourhood, combining residential buildings with landscaped spaces, water features and pedestrian-focused public areas.

Amenities planned across the community include swimming pools, sports facilities, a fitness centre, a floating clubhouse and an outdoor cinema. Residents will also have access to the retail, dining, leisure and public spaces already established within City Walk.

The project's central Dubai location provides connectivity to key areas including Downtown Dubai, Dubai International Financial Centre, Jumeirah Beach and Sheikh Zayed Road, as well as Dubai International Airport.

Meraas currently lists City Walk Crestlane as offering one- to four-bedroom apartments and duplexes, with current starting prices from around AED 2.7 million.

The AED 590 million contract adds to a series of construction awards by Meraas as the developer progresses residential projects across Dubai. For City Walk specifically, the latest appointment advances the physical delivery of Crestlane as the wider mixed-use destination continues to expand its residential offering.
