Emaar Hospitality Group has opened Vida Aljada, a new 175-room five-star lifestyle hotel in Sharjah, marking the Vida Hotels & Resorts brand's first property in the emirate.
Owned and developed by Arada and operated by Emaar Hospitality Group, the hotel is located in Aljada's Naseej District and represents the latest hospitality addition to Sharjah's largest mixed-use development.
HH Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Arada, attended the official opening of the property.
Vida Aljada comprises 129 king rooms, 32 twin rooms, three accessible rooms and 10 suites, alongside a 305-square-metre Penthouse Suite.
The penthouse, which Arada describes as the largest of its kind in the Northern Emirates, features a private pool, dedicated lift and full butler service, with a rack rate of AED 10,000 per night.
The wider development also incorporates a serviced-apartment building and two branded-residence buildings. Together, the four buildings contribute 579 keys to Sharjah's hospitality market.
Vida Aljada also introduces four food and beverage concepts. These include all-day dining restaurant Origins, speciality pizzeria True Slice, lobby café and social space Stage 2, and Flo.
Hotel amenities include spa treatment rooms, a 24-hour fitness centre, swimming pools for adults and children, an outdoor terrace and a children's play area. Meeting rooms, breakout spaces and a multifunction venue have also been incorporated for corporate events and gatherings.
The opening strengthens Aljada's hospitality offering as Arada continues to expand the mixed-use destination.
Spread across 24 million square feet, Aljada is planned to include 25,000 homes alongside retail, hospitality, entertainment, education, healthcare, sporting facilities and a business district.
More than 9,000 homes have already been completed, with Aljada's population now exceeding 20,000 residents. The destination also includes two international schools, hospitality properties and a growing range of retail, dining and entertainment facilities.
Vida Aljada is located around three minutes from University City and Sharjah Airport Free Zone, while Dubai International Airport and Sharjah Corniche are approximately 15 minutes away.
The opening adds another internationally operated hotel to Sharjah as the emirate continues to expand its hospitality infrastructure alongside the growth of major mixed-use residential destinations.
