A new community retail destination in Dubai’s Wadi Al Safa 2 is moving closer to completion, with Key Mavens Group confirming that Le Meryeme - Liwan remains on schedule for the fourth quarter of 2026.
The development spans a total built-up area of approximately 113,674 sq ft and is designed to serve residents across Liwan and surrounding communities.
Rather than functioning purely as a shopping centre, Le Meryeme – Liwan will bring together a mix of everyday services and leisure uses.
Plans include restaurants, cafés, healthcare facilities, fitness centres, retail outlets and communal entertainment areas. LuLu Hypermarket has also been confirmed as the development’s anchor tenant following a leasing agreement between Key Mavens Group and LuLu Retail.
Architecturally, the project takes inspiration from Spanish design, incorporating open layouts, outdoor courtyards and shaded terraces.
The emphasis on community retail reflects the residential expansion taking place across Liwan, Wadi Al Safa 2 and nearby areas, where growing populations are creating greater demand for services closer to home.
Key Mavens Chairman Eng. Munthir Al Ali said the development has been designed around the needs of surrounding communities, with the location providing access to nearby residential, educational, leisure and lifestyle destinations.
Le Meryeme - Liwan follows the delivery of Le Meryeme - The Villa, another community-focused retail development by the group.
The two projects adopt different architectural approaches based on their locations, with the Liwan development placing greater emphasis on open spaces and the integration of retail, services and community areas.
With construction progressing and practical completion targeted for Q4 2026, Le Meryeme – Liwan will add another neighbourhood-scale retail destination to Dubai’s expanding residential corridors.
