More than 2,100 employment opportunities for Emiratis have been created in Dubai's real estate sector between 2023 and 2026 through the Real Estate Empowerment Programme, according to Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The programme brings together Dubai Land Department, the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Nafis, combining government policy, employment incentives and private-sector participation.
Rather than focusing solely on recruitment targets, the initiative provides pathways spanning career awareness, job matching, practical training and continued professional development.
DLD said the programme has resulted in a notable rise in Emirati employment within participating real estate companies compared with the level recorded when the initiative began.
The programme has also expanded its focus towards retention by creating clearer career pathways and supporting longer-term professional development for UAE nationals working across the industry.
DLD said the next phase will focus on the quality of employment opportunities, expanding specialised roles and strengthening long-term career sustainability.
The initiative is also being positioned alongside the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033, as national talent development becomes increasingly integrated with the emirate's wider property-market growth plans.
The latest figures mark a significant expansion from the programme's earlier stages and highlight the growing push to bring Emirati professionals into a broader range of private-sector real estate roles.
