DHG Properties, the Dubai-based developer and part of Swiss real estate and construction group DHG, has started handing over Helvetia Residences in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC). The USD 200 million project is the developer’s first completed development in Dubai, and its 430 residences are fully sold. Rising 25 storeys with more than 73,000 sqm of built-up area, Helvetia Residences was completed within two years. It offers studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and is the first project under DHG’s Helvetia residential brand to be delivered in the UAE.
Blagoje Antic, Chairman, CEO and Founder of DHG Group, said, “Today as we deliver Helvetia Residences, I see a vision brought to life. When we entered Dubai, we made a commitment to bring our Swiss development heritage to the UAE - from the way we build and the standards we maintain to the experience we deliver to homeowners and value we deliver to investors. Reaching handover and seeing the development begin this next chapter is a proud moment and an important milestone for DHG’s journey in the UAE.”Amenities at the development include landscaped outdoor areas, a swimming pool, a children’s play area, a Technogym-equipped fitness centre, a jogging track, and a rooftop padel court. Apartments feature smart home technology.
Milos Antic, Vice Chairman of DHG Group and CEO of DHG Properties, said, “JVC has developed into one of Dubai’s most established residential communities, and that was an important factor in choosing it as the location of our first UAE development. As Helvetia Residences moves into the next phase, we also recognise that delivering the keys is only one part of the ownership journey. Our focus now is on ensuring residents continue to experience the quality and level of service associated with DHG well beyond handover.”
To support owners after handover, DHG has launched DHG Property Management, offering real estate advisory, long-term leasing, short-term rental and resale services.
DHG has two further developments under construction in Dubai, and its Helvetia-branded portfolio in the emirate also includes Helvetia Verde in Meydan Horizon and Helvetia Marine on Dubai Islands.
A first handover is the point at which a new developer’s promises become a track record, and Helvetia Residences gives DHG Properties exactly that in Dubai. Completed within two years and fully sold, the project arrives as completions across the emirate are rising sharply, giving buyers a growing choice of ready homes. The launch of an in-house property management arm is equally telling. By extending its role into leasing, rentals and resale, DHG is positioning itself to stay involved in the asset long after the keys change hands, an approach that should strengthen buyer confidence as its Meydan Horizon and Dubai Islands projects progress.
