Dar Global has appointed Gulf Asia Contracting for Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai, marking another construction milestone for the luxury mixed-use development on Sheikh Zayed Road.
The project is being developed by Dar Global as a branded hotel and residential tower combining hospitality, private residences and a members-only club. The appointment of Gulf Asia Contracting represents the latest step in the project’s construction progression.
Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai is located on Sheikh Zayed Road at the gateway to Downtown Dubai. Dar Global’s official project page describes the development as a branded hotel and residential tower featuring one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, along with four-bedroom duplex penthouses. The project is listed as under development, with expected completion in December 2031.
The tower is positioned as a five-star hotel and residential address with private residences, hotel amenities and a members-only club within one development. Dar Global’s project information also states that the development will feature what it describes as the highest outdoor infinity pool in the world, reserved exclusively for residents.
The latest contractor appointment follows an earlier construction milestone in December 2025, when Dar Global awarded the enabling works contract for the project to Edrafor Emirates LLC. At the time, Dar Global said Edrafor would undertake enabling and foundational works, including ground engineering, deep enabling systems and logistical mobilisation to prepare the site for full construction.
Dar Global said earlier that the project is designed to bring together world-class hospitality, luxury residential living and The Trump, a private members-only club. The company also described the tower as an 80-floor, 350-metre development with views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai’s skyline.
The appointment of Gulf Asia Contracting signals continued movement on one of Dubai’s most high-profile branded developments, at a time when demand remains strong for hospitality-led residences and ultra-luxury addresses in prime city corridors.
For Dubai’s real estate market, the project adds to the growing pipeline of branded residential and hotel-linked towers along key locations such as Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai. These projects are increasingly being positioned around global brands, hospitality services, private amenities and long-term investment appeal.
The construction milestone also reinforces Dar Global’s focus on luxury branded developments in the region, as the developer continues to advance projects tied to international hospitality, fashion and lifestyle names.
