DAMAC Properties has announced the handover of 8,800 residential units across Dubai in 2026, alongside more than AED 10 billion in construction contracts awarded during the first half of the year. The handovers span several of its flagship communities and developments, including DAMAC Hills, DAMAC Hills 2, DAMAC Lagoons, Chic Tower, and Elegance Tower.
Ali Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Properties, said, "DAMAC remains fully committed to delivering every promised unit and project to our customers without disruption or delay. Despite the regional tensions earlier this year, our construction activity, operations and handover timelines continue to progress with confidence and consistency. Our priority remains clear, to deliver on our commitments while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency and execution. Dubai continues to demonstrate exceptional resilience as a global real estate and investment destination, and DAMAC remains focused on supporting the emirate's long-term vision through timely delivery, and continued investment across our developments."
The announcement builds on DAMAC's established delivery track record. Founded in 2002 by Hussain Sajwani, the company has delivered 50,000 units to date, with more than 54,000 currently under construction across its portfolio.
The delivery milestone arrives at a moment when delivery credibility has become one of the most closely watched signals in Dubai's residential market. In a year where transaction volumes have moderated and buyers are placing greater emphasis on developer accountability, DAMAC's confirmation of 8,800 handovers alongside AED 10 billion in active construction contracts positions the company as one of the most operationally active developers in the emirate. For investors and end-users who purchased into DAMAC's pipeline over the past several years, the consistency of delivery progress is the more meaningful signal than any single project announcement.
