Berkeley Services has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, ranking in the 91st percentile globally and among the top 15 percent of companies assessed worldwide for sustainability performance.
EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading business sustainability ratings providers, evaluates more than 150,000 companies across 185 countries and 250 industries. Its assessment measures organisations across four pillars: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The recognition reflects Berkeley Services’ continued focus on responsible business practices, sustainable operations and long-term value creation for clients, employees, communities, partners and stakeholders. The UAE-based Integrated Facilities Management provider, part of Klüh Multiservices, said the achievement also reinforces its alignment with the United Nations Global Compact.
Karl-Heinz Otto Mair, Chief Executive Officer of Berkeley Services, said the medal marks a significant milestone and reflects the collective efforts of teams across the organisation. He added that sustainability is embedded in how Berkeley operates, serves clients, supports its people and contributes to communities.
Nadesh Gandhari, Head of ESG at Berkeley Services, said the recognition highlights the company’s progress in strengthening its environmental, social and governance practices, while motivating the business to continue improving transparency, innovation and impact.
