Azizi Developments has moved its 36,000-plus-home Azizi Venice community in Dubai South to round-the-clock construction, accelerating work across one of its largest mixed-use developments.

One of Dubai South's largest residential developments has shifted into a more intensive construction phase, with Azizi Venice now operating around the clock as Azizi Developments accelerates work across the master community.
The developer has introduced 24-hour construction at Azizi Venice, supported by increased manpower, contractor coordination and closer monitoring of construction milestones. Other projects in its Dubai portfolio, including the fourth and final phase of Riviera, are operating shifts of at least 10 hours a day.
The move builds on construction progress already recorded earlier this year. In April, Azizi reported that work across the first 14 released buildings had reached 39% overall, with individual buildings further advanced. Azizi Venice 3 had reached 74%, Venice 1 stood at 64%, and Venice 2 at 57%.
The scale of the development puts the latest construction push into perspective.
Azizi Venice is planned to deliver more than 36,000 residences across over 100 apartment complexes, together with more than 109 mansions. Azizi is acting as master developer, giving it responsibility not only for the buildings but also for roads and infrastructure across the community.
The developer is also using a vertically integrated construction model, taking greater control of procurement and manufacturing some of its own construction materials. According to Azizi, this supply-chain approach is supporting its efforts to maintain momentum across the portfolio.
The project's delivery network extends beyond Azizi itself. Gardinia Building Contracting is among the contractors involved, while KONE previously secured an order for 439 elevators equipped with predictive maintenance technology for the residential development.
Azizi Venice is being developed as more than a collection of homes. Residences are planned around a lagoon-led setting with sandy beaches, while an 8km cycling and jogging track, retail and commercial spaces, sports facilities and landscaped areas form part of the wider masterplan.
Another major component is the planned Cultural District in Dubai South, which is set to include an opera house, theatre, exhibition hall and performing arts academy.
The development's Dubai South location also places it within one of the emirate's major long-term growth corridors, close to Al Maktoum International Airport.
Farhad Azizi, Group CEO of Azizi Group, said the company is mobilising its resources to maintain construction momentum while meeting its quality standards.
For Azizi Venice, the shift to 24/7 construction is therefore more than an extension of working hours. It signals an acceleration in the delivery of a master development whose scale spans tens of thousands of homes, infrastructure, cultural venues and community amenities.
