UAE-based master developer Arada Group has announced plans for an AED 5 billion twin-tower residential development in Broadbeach on Australia's Gold Coast, marking its first project in Queensland.

The project follows Arada's acquisition of a prime development site and represents its largest commitment to the Australian market to date. Construction will be carried out by Roberts Co, Arada's construction subsidiary.

952 Residences Planned In Broadbeach Designed by Plus Studio, the development will comprise 952 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences across two towers connected by a landscaped podium. The project will include a lagoon pool, lap pool, gym, sauna, steam room, mist room, infrared room and salt scrub facilities. Other amenities will include communal terraces, private dining, a library, lounge and work-from-home spaces. Around 1,200 square metres of ground-floor space will be allocated to retail and hospitality tenancies.

The development is targeted for completion ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which are expected to support continued investment and residential demand across South East Queensland.

Prime Gold Coast location The Broadbeach site is located directly opposite the Gold Coast Convention Centre and provides access to established retail, dining, entertainment and transport infrastructure. The development will have access to the Gold Coast light rail network and is within walking distance of The Star Gold Coast and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, said, "Broadbeach is a world-class address that gives us the canvas to create a community of exceptional design and lifestyle quality that genuinely enriches the daily lives of the people who call it home. This is our first development outside New South Wales, and it reflects our growing ambition to grow in key urban markets around the country. Delivering this project through Roberts Co, our own tier-one construction business, means we can bring the quality, pace and accountability that our buyers expect."

Arada Expands Australian Pipeline Arada entered Australia in 2024 and has since assembled a pipeline of eight projects comprising more than 5,000 homes across the country. The group acquired Roberts Co in 2025, strengthening its integrated development and construction capabilities.

Arada said its expansion into Queensland reflects its confidence in the Gold Coast and the broader South East Queensland market, which is experiencing population growth driven by interstate migration, infrastructure investment and its position as a lifestyle destination.

Globally, Arada has projects valued at AED 130 billion and a portfolio of more than 55,000 homes across the UAE, UK and Australia.
