Aldar has announced the sell-out of the townhouse collection at The Orchids at Yas Acres, generating more than AED 680 million in sales on launch day. The development launched on 24 June 2026. It comprises 217 homes across two- and three-bedroom townhouses and three-, four-, and five-bedroom villas, set within the established Yas Acres masterplan on Yas Island.
The buyer profile reflects the breadth of demand the development attracted. UAE nationals accounted for 54 per cent of purchasers, while expatriate residents and international buyers made up the remaining 46 per cent, with India, the UK, and China among the top nationalities by sales volume. Notably, 73 per cent of buyers were first-time Aldar customers, drawn primarily by the community's proximity to leading schools alongside Yas Island's broader lifestyle and entertainment offering.
Following the townhouse sell-out, Aldar will release a limited collection of 20 premium villas, offering families the opportunity to secure one of a small number of larger homes within the community. The villas represent the final available inventory within The Orchids.
The launch-day result reinforces a pattern; at the time of the development's announcement, rather than opening a new masterplan, Aldar extended an established community with a proven track record. Yas Acres has achieved a Net Promoter Score of +49 for living experience, with residents consistently citing safety, greenery, and community as key reasons for recommending it. That combination of measurable resident satisfaction and Yas Island's expanding entertainment pipeline, with Disney Abu Dhabi and Sphere Abu Dhabi still to come, continues to support sustained demand for family-oriented residential products in the area.
