Al Hamra Appoints AHK Worldwide for Waldorf Astoria Residences RAK

Al Hamra Group has appointed AHK Worldwide as the main interior fit-out contractor for Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah, marking a key step in the delivery of one of the emirate’s most high-profile luxury residential projects.

The USD225 million branded residences development is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2028. Under the appointment, AHK Worldwide will be responsible for the full interior fit-out scope, covering the craftsmanship, detailing and finish expected of a Waldorf Astoria branded residential project.

The announcement follows a series of major sales milestones for the development, including the sale of the Sky Palace for USD35.4 million, which Al Hamra said is the highest-value single residential transaction recorded in Ras Al Khaimah. The project also recently recorded the USD15 million sale of its signature penthouse.

The milestones point to growing demand for ultra-luxury branded residences in Ras Al Khaimah, as the emirate continues to attract international investor interest and expand its high-end residential offering.

Located within Al Hamra’s coastal destination, Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah is positioned as a boutique ultra-luxury address connected to the wider Waldorf Astoria brand experience. The project forms part of Al Hamra’s push into the upper end of the residential market and reflects the growing role of branded residences in the Northern Emirates.

Benoy J. Kurien, Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Hamra, said the focus of the project has been to create a residential experience where luxury is expressed through quality, design and attention to detail.

“Every aspect of the development has been carefully considered with the end user in mind; from comfort and convenience to enduring elegance and functionality,” he said.

He added that AHK Worldwide’s experience in delivering high-end interiors makes the company an ideal partner to help bring the project’s vision to life.

Fadi Abla, Chief Executive Officer of AHK Worldwide, said the company is proud to be entrusted with the fit-out of the development.

“Drawing on more than three decades of specialist hospitality delivery across the MENA region, we are committed to interiors defined by precision, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance that align with the prestige of both Al Hamra and the Waldorf Astoria brands,” he said.

The contractor appointment comes as Ras Al Khaimah’s luxury real estate market continues to mature, supported by rising international interest, tourism growth and the emergence of branded residential developments across the emirate.

For Al Hamra, the progress of Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah strengthens its position in the ultra-luxury segment and adds another milestone to the emirate’s evolving residential landscape.
