Al Bawani Inks MoU With Colleges of Excellence

Al Bawani signed a Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation with the Colleges of Excellence to support and develop the construction sector, in a move to prepare Saudi cadres for the labour market, which is witnessing a huge growth in the Kingdom.

The MOU was signed in the presence of HE Dr Ahmed Al Fahaid Governor of Vocational Training Corporation, and engineer Fakher Al Shawaf, general manager of Al Bawani, as part of the initiatives to support and contribute to the enhancement of local content, which is one of the most important initiatives of vision 2030.

The agreement aims to create cooperation and exchange of experiences in all areas of technical and vocational training available between Al Bawani and the colleges of excellence.

Al Bawani’s joint cooperation

Dr Ahmed Al-Fahaid, governor of the General Foundation for Technical and Vocational Training, said after the signing ceremony: “This agreement aims to train and qualify Saudi national cadres to fill in the target professions as well as to define the framework of joint cooperation between Al-Bawani and the Colleges of Excellence, ensuring the service of their common interests and objectives, to achieve the goals of the National Transformation Plan 2020, and to see the Kingdom 2030, through the establishment of the Al-Bawani Academy.

Engineer Fakher Al Shawaf said, “This agreement will be a cornerstone of cooperation that will fulfil an important part of the process of empowering Saudi youth by training them in many skills, and fully prepare them to contribute to the realization of Vision 2030 to support Saudi Arabia’s economic aspirations in the local and international market; through Al Bawani Academy programs.”
