Ajman recorded real estate valuation transactions worth more than AED3.31 billion during the third quarter of 2026, according to figures released by the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department.
The department registered 738 valuation transactions between July and September, covering commercial, residential and industrial properties, alongside valuations associated with investor residency applications and other purposes.
The findings, provide an overview of property valuation activity across the emirate during the reporting period.
Commercial real estate accounted for the largest reported valuation total during the quarter.
The department registered 102 commercial property valuation transactions, with a combined value exceeding AED2 billion.
Residential properties followed with valuations totalling AED677 million, while industrial properties accounted for AED278 million.
The figures indicate that commercial assets represented a substantial proportion of the value assessed during the period.
However, valuation transactions should not be confused with completed property sales. They represent property assessments undertaken for different purposes and do not necessarily indicate that ownership has changed.
The department also recorded 414 valuation transactions related to Golden Residence applications for investors.
These valuations represented a combined value exceeding AED981 million.
The figures highlight the role of property assessments in supporting residency-related administrative procedures, alongside their use in property financing, investment and other transactions.
Valuations for units within real estate development projects reached 165 transactions, with a combined value of AED130 million.
The department's report also covered personal valuation requests and assessments undertaken for courts and institutions.
These categories reflect the range of services provided by the emirate's property regulatory authorities.
Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department, said the quarterly figures reflected continued demand across different property categories.
Ajman's wider real estate market has recorded substantial activity during 2026.
In the first half of the year, the department registered 6,815 real estate transactions with a combined value exceeding AED10.8 billion.
Of these, 5,435 were trading transactions valued at AED7.64 billion, while 969 mortgage transactions exceeded AED1.88 billion.
These earlier figures provide wider market context, although they measure different activities from the third-quarter valuation statistics and should not be added together.
Property valuation activity plays an important role in the real estate sector by supporting assessments of asset values for financial, administrative and legal purposes.
Commercial valuations can be particularly significant where properties are being assessed for financing, investment or business-related requirements.
Similarly, residential valuations may support transactions involving individual buyers, lenders and residency applications.
The third-quarter report does not provide a direct comparison with the corresponding period of 2025, making it inappropriate to calculate an annual growth rate from the published figures alone.
Nevertheless, the AED3.31 billion valuation total illustrates the scale of property assessment activity in Ajman during the quarter.
As the emirate continues to develop its residential and commercial property markets, regulatory data will remain an important source of information for investors, developers and other industry participants.
