ADGM Activates Broker Rankings for Property Buyers and Tenants

Property buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in Abu Dhabi Global Market will now have a new way to identify high-performing real estate brokers after ADGM activated its Broker Classification Framework.

The framework will classify real estate brokers operating within ADGM’s jurisdiction based on key performance and service criteria, including transaction activity, continuous professional development and customer feedback.

ADGM’s Registration Authority said the system is designed to recognise brokers who consistently maintain high standards of professionalism and service, while also encouraging improvement across the property sector.

Customer feedback will form part of the assessment process, giving the experiences of property owners, buyers, sellers and tenants a role in how brokers are classified. Transaction performance and participation in professional development will also be considered when identifying top-performing brokers.

The framework builds on ADGM’s earlier Broker Classification Initiative, which introduced a structured five-tier classification system for licensed real estate brokers. The tiers include General, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, based on three main scoring areas: sales performance, professional education and customer feedback.

H.E. Rashed Al Blooshi, CEO of ADGM’s Registration Authority, said the activation of the framework marks another milestone in the development of ADGM’s real estate ecosystem.

“The framework further strengthens accountability by incorporating customer feedback into the assessment process while encouraging brokers to continuously raise the standards of service they provide, ultimately enhancing confidence among property owners, buyers, sellers and tenants,” he said.

The Registration Authority will also hold dedicated workshops and engagement sessions with brokerages as part of the implementation process. These sessions will provide further guidance on classification, promote collaboration and identify areas where brokerages may require additional support.

The move is expected to support greater transparency in property transactions across ADGM, particularly for buyers and tenants looking to assess broker credibility before entering the market.

For Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector, the activation of broker rankings reflects a wider shift towards more regulated, service-led and transparent property ecosystems, where professional standards and customer experience are becoming central to market confidence.
