Accor and CITYVIEW Developments have announced Mövenpick Residences Dubai Motor City, a 408-unit development that will mark the world’s first standalone Mövenpick Residences and the first branded residential project in Dubai Motor City.

Scheduled for completion and opening in 2028, the development will introduce studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom residences to the established mixed-use community.

Unlike hotel-linked branded residences, the project will operate as a standalone residential development, extending Mövenpick's hospitality brand into private residential ownership without an adjoining Mövenpick hotel.

408 Homes Planned for Motor City

The development will feature a range of wellness, leisure and community amenities, including multiple swimming pools, a fitness centre, indoor and outdoor lounges, a padel court, BBQ areas, a kids' club and a pet grooming area.

Homeowners will also have access to the Accor Owner Benefits Programme, which provides benefits across participating Accor hotels and resorts as well as elevated status within the ALL Accor loyalty programme.

The project will be supported by Accor One Living, the hospitality group's platform focused on the development, design and operation of branded residences and mixed-use projects.

Located in Dubai Motor City, the residences will sit within an existing community comprising residential, retail, dining and leisure infrastructure.

Branded Residences Move Into Established Communities

The launch reflects the continued expansion of branded residences beyond Dubai's traditional prime waterfront and luxury districts into established residential communities.

Knight Frank's The Residence Report 2026/27 estimates that more than 31,300 branded residential units are planned in Dubai between 2025 and 2030, representing around 8% of the city's overall new residential pipeline.

Dubai had already recorded a 26% year-on-year increase in branded residence transaction volumes during the first nine months of 2025, while total sales value increased 51% over the same period.

Raki Phillips, Regional President for Accor's Premium, Midscale and Economy division across the Middle East, Africa and Türkiye, said branded residences are increasingly expanding beyond the traditional luxury segment, creating opportunities to introduce hospitality-led living across a wider range of communities.

Accor, CITYVIEW Extend Dubai Partnership

Mövenpick Residences Dubai Motor City represents the latest project between Accor and CITYVIEW Developments following Hyde Residences Dubai Hills.

Iskander Enikeev, Director of Commercial Strategy at CITYVIEW Developments, said the introduction of Motor City's first branded residences represents an evolution of the established community, with the project placing particular emphasis on wellness, longevity and lifestyle amenities.

The two companies are also exploring additional development opportunities across Dubai.

For Dubai's branded residential market, the project is notable not only for introducing another international hospitality brand, but for extending the model into Motor City, as branded living becomes increasingly distributed across the emirate's established residential districts.
